Meet Maxime.

Maxime is a Dutch photographer specializing in the Middle East and North Africa. She works on personal projects and for brands within the travel, tourism, culture, lifestyle & hospitality industries. Her personal work is driven by a deep fascination for the archeological, cultural and natural heritage of the MENA region. 

Maxime grew up in Vienna, Austria where she first started taking photos of her experience living abroad with her mother's pocket camera at the age of 14. She decided to study photography at Style Design College Milan, Italy in 2010 and continued to study business & hospitality management at Hotelschool The Hague - Amsterdam Campus in 2011. She started working as a professional photographer beside her bachelor degree in 2012 and started her photography journey as an event & festival photographer in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Additionally, it has always been her dream to combine the world of photography with the world of hospitality and tourism. In 2019, she travelled to Saudi Arabia for a photography assignment for the first time. She commuted back and forth from Amsterdam to Saudi Arabia for photography projects for five years and is now officially based in Riyadh. In 2024, she launched her platform called Arabian Moments in which she sells high quality photography prints and souvenirs inspired by the phenomena of the Middle East. Arabian Moments furthermore collaborates with the best photographers in Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Morocco to offer tourists, travellers and brands the ability to design the photoshoot of their dreams at the most iconic destinations. In the future she hopes to expand it into a travel and photography agency creating unique experiences all around the MENA region.
